David A. Toivonen, MD (Appleton, Wisconsin) earned his Doctorate in Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  He did an internship and residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin.  His Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship was in Syracuse, New York.  He currently is subspecialized in a private practice at the Hand and Upper Extremity Center of Northeast Wisconsin.  He is board certified in orthopaedics and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand.  He holds multiple memberships in professional and scientific societies including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Association for Hand Surgery, and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
