Dr. Groth attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas for his undergraduate studies in Biology and Chemistry. After a year immunology research at the National Jewish Center in Denver, he began Podiatry school in Chicago, Illinois. Residency training was completed at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital, PA. As Chief Resident, Dr. Groth ran a busy foot and ankle service overseeing twelve other residents, supervised by several of the profession’s leading surgeons.
Dr. Groth has fellowship training in the correction of complex lower extremity deformities. He has served as Chairman of the Memorial Health System Podiatric Section and as a Director of the Colorado State Podiatry Board. He also runs a clinic in Lamar, Colorado which serves eastern Colorado and western Kansas. Dr. Groth is a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and board certified in foot surgery plus rearfoot, reconstructive and ankle surgery.
